Christina Vechsler joined Tierney Stauffer LLP as an Associate Lawyer in 2021. She specializes in the areas of Corporate/Commercial and Environmental Law.
Christina practises predominantly in corporate and commercial law, including providing legal advice in the following areas:
- Share and asset purchase agreements
- Corporate reorganizations
- Shareholders’ agreements
- Shareholders’ disputes
- Corporate governance
- Commercial contracts
- Development of corporate policies and procedures
- Industry-specific regulatory requirements
Christina also frequently advises clients on commercial leasing matters.
In addition, Christina maintains an environmental law practice advising clients, such as, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and individual property owners on risks relating to contaminated sites and other regulatory matters.
Since Christina’s call to the Ontario Bar in 2006, Christina has gained strong and varied experience in the areas of corporate, commercial, energy, environmental, and municipal law. She has worked in private practice at a large Toronto firm and a national law firm. She has also gained public sector and in-house legal experience, as well as experience as a strategic advisor in the energy and infrastructure sector in Toronto.
Christina was raised in the Arnprior and McNab/Braeside area and completed her undergraduate and legal studies in Ottawa. She enjoys spending her free time rediscovering the Greater Ottawa Area with her family.
