Emily began working at Tierney Stauffer LLP part-time as an administrative and legal assistant. In 2013, upon completion of her LL.B., Emily moved into an Articling position with the firm. During this time, she gained considerable exposure to all areas of legal practice. Upon her Call to the Bar in 2014, Emily joined the firm as an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group.
Emily’s solicitor’s practice has a primary focus on providing business law services to both new and seasoned business owners, ensuring her clients meet all the requirements of operating in today’s modern business world. Emily provides legal guidance to clients with regards to incorporations, shareholders agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.
Emily enjoys working with all levels of business owners, especially assisting in determining the best structure for new business owners and entrepreneurs.
In addition to business law, Emily provides clients with advice and assistance on both commercial and residential real estate transactions including purchases, sales, refinancing and leasing.
